Title: To shuffle pin or not?

I have all the machining equipment and know how necessary to put in the pins, but what is your experience? I have two cases that I would do it to, an empi raised roof case and a mag case. both new and both going over 2.0L. The emi case is going to be 2332 and possibly run NOS down the road with limited track time. But i do drive everything like i stole it....

Just looking at the Gene Berg website...

Shuffle pins are another unneeded item. Why not fix the problem rather than put a bandage on your elbow for a sore on your knee. If a quality crankshaft is used that does not bend or flex (shuffle) then the case will not move. In fact, we get many complaints from people having the case break at the center main web after they have installed shuffle pins.
I have never ever had any of these problems with any of our properly manufactured products and combinations, so do not get ripped off by a sales pitch that is designed to have it fail so they can sell you more sooner.

Yeah, been there read that. Surfed samba for a few hours too. From what i've read it doesnt hurt if you dont royaly screw up. Thats why i was asking if anyone has experience with it on their own engine.
