hey guys i have a 1960 vw beetle that was originally brought in from the states then i purchesed here. im amost done building it and wanted to no what type of inspection needs to b done on it .

as long as you have the paperwork from the border then the next step is a Provincial inspection. I don't think a Federal is necessary because of the age.

partway down is a pdf of garages that do out of country inspections. I've heard some are more lax than others.. I've taken a car to Adria (on Broadway) and they were very thorough. ex. on the list of items needing to be fixed was: 'the passenger seat does not move fluidly in the track'.
