LOL i cant win!, the motor runs, fires right up..has good fuel preasure..
is all synced up...the over all tuning of the linkage could use some work..
have no idea what the boost is set at at the moment (have not made any boost yet)..the motor purrsssss...but the damn thing wont turn off..
once it starts..thats it..pull the key out and it keeps on running....cb says this can happen..and that you need to solder in the diode they supply into your alternater light line..so i did that..like they show..same thing..no shutting off..i cant take it for a burn yet cuz if something goes wrong i wanna be able to shut her down right away.

well, its way more done then it was this morning, thanx 2 the help of bugsmell..

i should have figured that with my luck and this kit that something like this woulda happend..but one thing at a time.

if anyone has any ideas let em fly.

Check your msd wiring, I had a similar problem with my car and realized i had one wire going to the wrong connection, check your wiring diagram

:D rechecked the MSD (with some serious help from scratchy) sure thing..works like a charm now..lol time to move onto other problems..

I had the same prob w the CB injection and MSD combo. Make sure the diode is heading the right direction, they only work one way. I can't remember exactly, something involving the stripe on the diode itself. Jim at Airspeed knows.

I am having the same problem with my MSD. What wire did you put the Diode on??? I'd appreciate the advice. :rolleyes:

The problem was due to the Master Relay pulling in and keeping power on the ignition (It has a feed directly off the battery with a 10 A fuse).
With the fuse removed, it worked fine, It turned out some wires got connected where they shouldn't have been. Once they were disconnected, everything worked fine.

As far as the diode on the alternator goes, this was already connected when I looked at the problem, and was never even touched.
It's hooked up directly on the alternator, but I never took notice exactly how.

So without it, there may still have be a problem, they only way to tell is to disconnect it and see what happens.
