You read it right… LIVE VIDEO FEED of the Pro Stock Nationals and Bugorama. Over the last week I’ve been busting my ass to try and come up with a way to hopefully broadcast this race LIVE. The biggest downfall I was faced with was obtaining
an internet connection since there is no WiFi in the tower. Last night I got the best phone call ever from Chad Blackshire from Revmaster; he had purchased a 4g Hot Spot and is giving us full access to it for the Live Feed…. Thank you Chad and thank you Revmaster.
This will be a FREE feed for everyone at home who cannot make it. However please keep one thing in mind… THIS IS FREE… and our backs are up against the wall with using a Hot Spot as internet. Since the internet might be sluggish I’ll more than likely have to compress it to a low resolution, low quality video. If I try and turn it up, I guarantee you it’ll jitter, lag, and look like crap. There is a chat room available as well if you would like to
use it. More than likely I will NOT be in this chat room since I’m taking photos, recording the race, and printing photos onsite. I’ll have some friends monitoring the race and if something happens with the feed I’ll get an immediate phone call.
Again since this is free, there will be banners and commercials randomly popping up, just something you’re going to have to deal with. I’m going to try and run a few microphones to receive both outside car audio sounds and internal commentator audio. I’m planning on broadcasting the entire weekend. Current start time for Saturday is 4pm, and Sunday is 9am. Keep in mind this is West Coast California time so for you East Coasters make sure you add 3 hours.
Again… remember this is free, and the internet might be sluggish. Just bare with us and hopefully it’ll turn out great this weekend. Again…. Everyone thank Chad and Revmaster for their support in making this happen.

Also this available on iPhones, iPads, and Droids. Go to your Store and search for Ustream. After installing the Application to your device go to the SEARCH menu and you can find my channel in 2 ways. Either type in stephenhawes or Vw Racing News . You should see the channel pop up with the Vw Racing News Logo.
