Title: whats a project worth?

i know..wide open question. ive been looking for a project bug for a while now & they seem hard to find. i found a70 with regi,looks rough but complete. doesnt run. the guy wants 1500. seems steep to me. or am i just cheap? its on kijiji vernon under beetle

that would be fine but no motor or trans & a trailer ride to the okanagan. if it were closer or complete id be all over it

went and saw the car today.looks pretty complete. running boards rusted out,front beam rotten. single port motor not running [spark plugs on back seat} not seized floor may be repairable. i said it was a 4-500 car  he wants 800
