Title: what seats in a buggy?

what seats are you using in manx style cars? pics if you have. i need new seats---having trouble finding what fits

I have a pair of higback poly buggy seats I was going to sell

I'm using the same ones but low backs in my manx

i have original lowback buckets & i like the height but theyre to narrrow

have these in mine   http://www.actionimport.com/Catalog_EMPI/Race-Trim_Seats.htm (http://www.actionimport.com/Catalog_EMPI/Race-Trim_Seats.htm)  but in all black - can get vinyl too.... waaaay more comfortable than the glass tubs, especially if you want to bring a female with you without them "commenting" about the seats...

width is just right but others put in seats from wreckers fine too - don't know which models though...just watch the width...

thats funny,i just ordered those exact seats in grey from cip. they should show up next week. how did you mount yours?

got my seats today. pretty sure theyre not going to fit. too wide & cant move them far enough back. i cant figure out how they could mount low enough to be able to still get in & out   crap

I used the universal mounts to make life easier to mount my beard seats in the wife's baja. Before that they were in a fiberglass manx copy with slightly lower mounts that looked about the same but didn't tilt. They should fit but will be snug - it will depend how you mount them.

well igot them mounted. they fit barely but move me a little closer to steering & pedals. i may change to something else over the winter
