Title: cip crate engines
Post by: notorious B.U.G. on May 03, 2012, 09:39:28 AM
Looking for a strong reliable engine for street driving. CIP has crate engines, the 1914 version runs $3000.
Is that a good price for a 1914? The nice thing is it is available now and has a 6 month warrantee. Of course that would be void as I would install it myself. But they have to be built to a professional standard?

I'm not looking to extract every possible hp out of it, I just want a nice street motor.

How much more would it cost for someone to personally build a motor in the 1914 configuration? with all the new parts the CIP one has?

Any help is appreciated...........
