One of the biggest VW events in the Pacific Northwest is this coming up!!!
Bring your VW, in any condition from show car to daily driver or complete clunker, it's all cool. Other cars are welcome too...
It's for a good cause, every year CFTC donates proceeds to various programs that saves lives. This year's benefactor is the Mary Bridge Foundation Tree House Project.

On Facebook look up 'Cruise For The Cure'. www.facebook.com/CruiseForTheCure

What is Cruise for the Cure?
Cruise for the Cure was started in 2004 as an event to dust off our VW's and get them on the open road for all to see. The day includes a 100 mile drive from Federal Way, WA to Snoqualmie Summit before continuing back down I-90 to Lake Sammamish State Park. At the park we have Music, Food, Kids Activities, Silent Auction and historically over 200 VW's but broke 400 in 2008.

Although started as an Aircooled event, we've been excited to see the Watercooled VW Community join us in increasing numbers each year. CFTC is more than just a Day to Cruise and hang out with fellow VW'ers. At the heart of CFTC is a Cause that needs our help. Every year we raise funds for a new local charity. Our first years benefactor was Childrens Hospital of Seattle. Our second year we choose the Evergreen Chapter for A.L.S Reserach. Third year's benefactor was the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation. For our 4th Annual CFTC we chose Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis in honor of one of our own: Sadie Jordan. Many of us are affected on a personal level with the War in Iraq so year 5 was Fisher House. For 2009 we have chosen Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as our benefactor. Please visit CFF.org for more information. 2011 was BeTheMatch Foundation and now in 2012 we are raising money for Mary Bridge Tree House Project.

Cruise for the Cure has raised over $32,000 for local charities.
How You Can Help:
Our goal has always been to keep this a free event for anyone who wants to participate. The only way we're able to do this is from the help we get from our Sponsors and selling Shirts and DVD's.

It takes a lot of hard work and many hours to put on this event each year. But what makes this even more special is the people who give their time to help others by setting CFTC up. Let's have another great year and raise even more donations for a another great cause. Thank you!
