I like it!I was talking to someone today about what constitutes art,and how some stuff is called "art",but looks like a load of crap.On the island here,the local hotel has a row of wooden poles in the yard,all wrapped with bent up sheet metal.Apparently it's a work of art,but to me it looks like a row of car accidents.One of them bears a striking resemblance to my brother's '64 Buick on New years eve when he hit the biggest tree on the north end road.I guess I'm not cultured enough to grasp what the artist is trying to say.The beaded beetle represents a hell of a lot of talent and labour.There's no way on earth I could do that,and maybe that's what the definition of art is to me .If I say"Shit! I could have done that!",then it ain't art.
