not sure if anyone knows but i just recently found out (beetlemania) ben has passed away ,.. i just met him last year , he had asked me to pick up some parts from springmeet , and we met and became friends great guy,.. here is waht his sister wrote on facebook..


Very sad to here our Bubba Ganoosh aka Ben Haire has lost his battle to Cancer, You will be missed dearly my friend. I will miss how funny you where, you always new how to put a smile on everyone's face, hope you have fun cruz'n in your dream Volkswagen♥ sending love to the family ♥

kind thought shane, but the celebration of life for ben was held in late december in victoria.

truly sad news about ben. i didnt know him personally but he seemed like a keen upbeat kind of guy. i loved his VH fan shroud and the video he made of his motor build start up is a classic piece of comedic genius...
