It's an early engine for sure... It's running a lee filter from around 1972!

There is probably 50+ cars from 71-74 that it could have come from... Is is a Seattle local car or? Just a little info could go a long way. It's not the long lost Inch pincher engine thats for sure. Not a DDS one either, it has all the correct early race parts but nothing that says it's from a specific "sponsored" car. The pulley looks like a early Clauds Buggies pulley but the pic is too small to really see. Same with the detail on the flywheel, yes it's been lightened but I can't see if it's a 6v or 12v.. Many early cars ran porche boxes and used the 6v flywheels. Itm sure looks like a D case, any chance of better pic's?

pull a valve cover as there may be a head porters stamp... Fumio?

If it was a Wa State engine I would think there would be more early Renton Berg parts on it...

Give us some info to go on.

whats the deal with it? Did you find it for sale or were these pics found on another site? If it is the Stutt Bee engine, Russell Richie would like to have it for the car i'm sure.

Hey Steve, ask him to tell us what the serial numbers are on the IDAs.  It's on the pad right beside where it is stamped "48 IDA".
