Title: Geoff ........ Fuel Filter
Post by: Billyisgr8 on August 14, 2003, 06:22:31 PM
Geoff,

Do the tech guys at the track check the fuel line under the car, to make sure there are no plastic filters?  I have one that is tucked up and away, and don't really want to change it.

The tech guys are pretty relaxed as soon as they see a a/c VW. When you get up to the tech guy, just tell him your car should run in high 14's or even slower and suddenly the whole process speeds up. He may look over at your car, then sign it off. It's just when you tell him 13's or 12's, then they start looking at everything.

Usually he comes up asks you what time you think it will run, say slow! Then he may ask to look in the eng compartment, but usually he'll just sign you off...

See you out there.
