Despite the fact that it's summer, I find myself working on my BN2 heater to get it to fire up quicker. (Happen to be bored to death in Panorama for the week). I've worked out that the heater and fuel pump work well, it's simply a matter of the fuel draining back down the line when it sits for an extended period of time. Overall I should be getting more heat out of the system, so I will be looking for a replacement pump, but in the meantime I'd like to find a 5mm check valve.
Current Eberspacher part listings show a 6mm one-way check valve, which I could probably make work with the factory line sizes...but will require ordering from the UK.
Can anyone think of a better, more local, option? ...or better yet, a 5mm solution?

If it's a late one with the remote pump move the pump down lower and check for leaks in the hose, as for more heat have you messed with the adjustable piston stroke on the pump? 1/8 turn out can make a big difference between kinda warm and melting the mats.
