Title: Thing Questions

 Alright...a few Thing questions for tomorrow night. The car in question is a '73.

1) Speedo cable Length - Anyone know? Will a '73 1302 cable work?

2) Brakes - Anything different I need to know between adjusting thing brakes vs. beetle?

3) Front hood release - The hood is very difficult to lock down...and pops up on the highway (thank goodness for safety latches!) Ideas/common issues?

1) 1390mm.  Super cable is the one.

2) Have both here, can't see any difference on the adjustment.

Hood.. You should be able to adjust the position of where the clamshell lever catches.. it may need to be moved forward, or down.
