why not just shave them out? just use a new razor, some 1200, then 3000 and cut polish and voila! no more run

Endura doesn't polish to good respray is alot quicker . My wife said too leave them so people won't ask me to paint there cars :D

With spelling like that, they wouldn't ask you to write a book either! lol_hitting

If was smart I wouldn't be a painter . Not saying all painters are dumb. Just you can't accuse me of being smart

putting a run in endura is a real feat! but it shaves just like any other polyurethane, just give it a few days to set up. it can show a halo where the run was cause the tinters tend to settle as the paint cures.when spraying i usually aim for 12 seconds in the SATA DIN 4 viscosity cup with endura ( just keep adding ex-2c thinner). it'll lay down like glass. also go with the supercat 2 but only go to about 1oz/sprayable gallon, otherwise it'll kick way too fast. i also set my satajet up to 40psi at the heel

by the way i spray endura and ppg delfleet daily

Just curious did I ask for your advice? And why is it that almost everything I post lately gets picked on by someone?
What I did to spray this was mix it one to one then gave it a dash of m.e.k. to thin it out . My old siphon feed paint waster wasn't working so I poured the paint into my primer gun with the hour glass banana spray pattern. Cranked up some Tom Waits oped the door of my garage at home and started painting.
I painted this thing for an old friend a long time ago . He rolled it a few months later and not long after that he died of a heart attack. If you knew him or me, you would understand that there is a story behind the runs. I really don't care how they got there or what I did wrong they brought back some good memories.

At Brutus truck bodies?
-
Well I think it looks 10000+ times better than the last time I saw it, nice work!
-
sorry man,not being picky, just trying to offer the releif of not sanding and repainting, and yes, painting brutus bodies
-
oh, and the tech tip of the day for everyone is tolulene. the endura rep said that tolulene ( while now being tough to get due to enviroment laws ) makes paint resistant to runs wtf. anyways ex-2c thinner seems to have lots ( i guess endura is voc law exempt ). i've tried other thinners with endura and it wants to take off on me but ex-2c thinner allows you to pack it on way beyond the safe level and it doesn't really want to sag. maybe they meant it for oil derricks being painting in 40 below.
and sorry for not saying that your job does look good, which it does, and with endura you have a bulletproof paint job

Looks Great Chris! PDT_Armataz_01_37

No worries I not a great painter but my painting skills are way better than my polishing skills lol_hitting . I'll try the tolulene trick for my respray areas. When your at work say hi to my cousin trevor. I think he is in sales

Careful with the Tolulene guys. Extremely toxic and stays in the body for a long period of time. Play safe.

trevors yer cus? small world! as for martinis, i prefer xylene, it gives the kick a little quicker, andeps kicking. as for the tolulene, i don't even think you can get it out west anymore, the ex-2c thinner (the only thinner from endura ( why only 1?)) works just fine. but if yer gunna just repaint the one panel, do it the same as all the others, otherwise the texture will be wrong. make sure you leave that fresh paint sit for a week before repainting or you'll get that sweet wrinkle look (don't ask how i know).

Good job chris, You are a amazing person to find the time to do such a thing, Cudos to you man, your awsome and you help so many poeple.
Cheers

I purchased some tolulene at home depot 2 months ago
-
maybe home depot is the new black market for painters

Dave there are alot of painters on this forum that better and faster than me. My moto is " I may not be good but I'm slow"

Thanks for the kudos guys I didn't expect that. I was showing off that I can actually finish a something. And I'm only 5 years behind schedule.
