Title: What Stones Work Best For Intake Porting/polish?
Post by: Boost_Retard on May 17, 2004, 02:16:00 PM
hey everyone..i have a new set of manifolds that i need to match port to my cyl heads..i have all the air tools for the job..and i have some carbide bits..but i dont think using those for porting would be a very good idea..
they eat allot of metal VERY quickly

the intakes are CBs injection manifolds (IDF style) do most of you use stones? or what? it looks like i need to take a fair amount out of the manifolds to get them to match the heads..but i still cant see using a carbide bit.

thanx
Cale

Stones will fill up with aluminum in no time flat, use flap wheels.
