   The time has finally come after announcing with much honor,dedication, and commitment to Periscope Productions/Richard Kimball... for almost 35 years of my vw life....to hear that my professional announcing services are no longer needed and will finally step aside and retire my services as a result from economic times. To ALL that have attended the Hot vw's drag day and Bug in events I thank you for everything. One would think that I would have heard this from the promoter but instead was informed of the decision by race director Ron fleming just this last week. Thats not retirement it's called cutbacks! Dyno Don is an Icon at VW events!

they cut him so he retired all together...
