If you're talking about a Karmann Ghia (the Brits call a convertible Bug a "Karmann"), there's no way you will fit that tire without narrowing the torsion housing.
When I ran that tire on my Beetle, I had 3mm of clearance to the spring plate, and I pulled the wheel arch out a tiny bit.  Beetles have way more room than a KG.
6" Fuchs will fit, but you can't use wheel adapters.  A 195/65 will work.

There's no e in Fuchs.

I have seen late 7s on an early Ghia with short axle.  But that's with a small tire.
