Title: Mounting escras?

Hey there,
have had these wheels in my closet for over a year, and with no luck selling, or possibly good luck not selling I happenened to have bought a 56, and its coming up from the states at the end of the month,
was wondering if anyone has mounted these wheels on a early bug?
my beam is narrowed 6inchs so I am just curious if its too short,
also would the rears need spacers?
