Edit - Meant to say "old" school m/c...

I am trying to help a friend... he is looking to buy a motorbike, preferably older and under $1000. Has to be running cond and preferably not a hunk off sh_t... If anyone has something lying around let me know...

Hey Gav, I still have that old Yamaha XS400 I used to ride to work at Arson. It runs but needs some work (and probably a battery). It has electrical issues of unknown origin. Basically, I lost interest and never bothered to fix it. I'd like to get around $500 for it.
