with a type 3 dash retro fit
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1043245

It doesn't have a Type 3 dash in it. The dummy uploaded pics of a rotten Type 3 in the ad.
-
Accidental uploads happen Bruce... the real dummy is Alp for thinking its a grafted dash lol_hitting
-
There's about 8.545 people in Canada that could put that thing back together.
There about 120,334 dreamers who would like it in their garage.
:D Which include me in one of those numbers. I wish it was the first!
-
I didn't click on the separate pics just saw the gauge humps and dash and thought what the hell??? who's the dummy huh.....

i think Alp has been hang'n out in his race car sniffing to much c-16
-
not enough C16 might be the problem... was there an ebay ad?? I saw the post and saw it was local so copied the ad heading. I was going to go back and see what was up with the type 3 dash inside but didn't.

my budy that lives in creston knows the guy that found it and it looks like it,ll be heading to california, he had offers over 4 grand so far, not a bad investment for just cutting a couple trees and hauling it away! :o

Last I heard this bus is heading to Texas to Kelly who owns the KCW T34
-
I think they were commenting on it on KCW saying it was worth around $10 000!

Anyone can "say" any number. It's the number of Bennys that actually change hands that sets the value. I heard 6.
-
off course that goes without saying Bruce.
-
$8500 be the price lads! And it's interesting how the KCW thread points to THIS thread and THIS thread points to the KCW one!
In other words, no one knows sheeot! Except the guy will happily take $8500 :-X
-
Did he sell it? It sounds like he's looking for a parts bus for it lol_hitting

-
maybe he is just fishing for a backyard find.....
-
he did sell the barndoor, but now he,s is looking for more in the area so he can make a quik buck! he did very well on the on the last bus he found! ;D
-
Would be cool if he found another but chances are pretty slim. He will likely get lots of baywindow and vanagon owners contacting him. ;D

yeah, I was being facetious ;). I know he sold it... funny he makes it sound like he is looking for parts for "his" bus
