Title: Tzero Beats Ferrari

I'd love to put this in a beetle:

I saw a write-up in yesterday's Vancouver Sun about this \"car\" - UnF*ckingBelievable!

Most of the info on the website is quite dated.
They have since upgraded to Lithium-Ion batteries and can now do 0-60 in 3.6 seconds.

200Hp - 183ft-lbs from 0-5000rpm, rev-limited to 13,000rpm - 1970lbs
1/4 mile time would be much lower if it wasn't governed to max out at ~ 100mph (it has only one gear - 9:1 drive ratio).

Lots of videos on this site of this BEV blowing the doors off of Ferrari's, Porsches, etc. even in the rain
against an all-wheel drive Carrera4.

Just imagine this propulsion system in a beetle with 6,800 Li-ion cells  :o  :o  :o
No more cracked cases/heads, bent rods, burned valves, flattened lifters, $1.10/liter fill-ups, etc.  :D
I know.... I know..... it wouldn't be a high performance beetle without the constant fixing, tuning, tweaking,
or that throaty roar of the dual Webers, but it would still be a real sleeper  B)  B)  B)

but i am not giving up the turbo :)
aagghhh..im not really feeling like installing that thing today either..
