Title: '57 Oval
Post by: johnny main on October 06, 2010, 06:57:10 PM: 57 oval og paint on some parts but a ton of patina

The Good:
brand new zero mile tire and wheels 146/65/15s out front and 185/65/15s out back on repop sprints.
new brakes including turned drums all new pads, wheel cylinders, springs (where needed) and brake lines including braided flexes.
type 3 trans in excellent driving condition with long axle with og 2bolt oval brakes no wheel spacers the sit perfect in there.
new 5 inch dargis beam with brand new tie rods, cb drop spindles, steering box and bushings.
really good strong running 1600 sp with new clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing.
overall the body is very solid has had front end damage ears ago rear clip is nice, hood is wrong and fenders are beat up but solid, car comes with a extra set of door and wire tube fenders, lanny hussey replaced a front pass quarter and a heater channel in this car a few years ago it is a very solid driver the area above the torsion housing is still wearing shiny og coral paint!
and it has been converted to 12v all electrical works except the horn which i will try fix.
has heat and a big m also.
The Bad:
ratty interior but complete
rear bumper brackets are soft
needs to be clipped to be a show car if restored
I built this car this year to go to a show in eastern washington and never went, i go over these cars extremely well when i am going to be going road tripping so i trust this car to go anywhere i will deliver the car anywhere for my cost to get back
selling or trading with cash to fund my new project

car is now on brand new wide five sprints with 145/65/15s up front and 185/65/15s on the back with zero miles on them

Car is no longer forsale i am just going to be driving it as a daily now
