Title: Carb hex bar linkage bushing

Driving to work today in the single cab and all of the sudden..................running on two.................but idle's fine.........
Opened da hatch and hex bar off bushing out and melted.
Cip.........none buy whole bar
Avr................trying

Any idea's?

New bushing local?

Weber 34 ict's in case it matters

sounds like something you could solve pretty quick with some calipers and a lathe?

Ah, didn't realize it was a "fix and get me home" issue.

in that case, electrical tape would have been your better choice. Slides like a bushing, thin so you can adjust the fit with wrap counts.
