More Info It's that time of year again! Bring your 'dubs out of the garage and out for a weekend of Volkswagen fun!
Although Das Volks is a judged show, we welcome Volkswagens, Audis, and Porsches from all walks of life to enter the Show & Shine and participate in the weekend's events. Even if you think your car is not show worthy, someone will enjoy looking at it, so bring it out!!

Anyone coming to Calgary to race on Friday night? Kevin?...it's just a short drive from Sicamous ;)
Friday, July 30th
Drag Races @ Race City Motorsport Park - $25 Racing / $5 Spectating. Gates open at 6:00pm, Tech starts @ 6:30pm. Racing begins @ 7:30pm.
We usually race until after 11:00 pm, sometimes until after midnight, when the air gets cool. I've gotten as many as 10 races on a good night, but usually 6-7.
Or, spend the whole weekend and drive back on the holiday Monday:

So how was the racing on Friday night?

Dustin ran a bunch of low 12's. Gary brought out his drag Beetle, but only had his small motor installed for now (2020 cc), as his 2332 cc isn't completed. Unfortunately I only got one race and broke a Scat valve adjuster:

CB sells hardened steel adjusters that will resolve that issue...
