Ok I have tried everything to get my bug running again to no avail. I need to take it to a shop to get it running and I just want some suggestions. I used to go to D&B in north van but they're not around now. Any suggestions anywhere to stay away from? Thanks.

Look for "Looking for someone to tune my carb! "
You will find Notchback/ Bruce and he can help you.

Let me know if you find a shop.
I am also looking for a shop to take my beetle to get my carb/flat spot sorted out.

If not Bruce, then try German Motor Car in Port Moody.

Thanks everybody for your help. The guy that built my engine installed the distributor drive shaft 180 degrees out. I had to turn the distributor around and it fired up like nobodys business.
