KIRIN!
IF i had my guess 2002.
-
1998-2000 BMW 323i. They continued the 320i till the end of the E46 (98-05) production, however dropped the 323i in 2000 to make room for the 325i.

I side with Stephans guess. Pre-face lift e46....
Let me know if you need to know all the issues with them T.

If you can look through the windsheild and see the vin number, then what is the tenth digit? T= 1996, V= 1997, W= 1998, X= 1999, Y= 2000, 1= 2001, 2= 2002 and so forth. The info I have on my Alldata system shows the 323i to only be made from 1998 to 2000. Hope this helps.

Now.. If I can get a nice thorough ICBC search on it, that would rock.
Apparently my ex husband, that can't pay child support and drove a 92 Corolla until a few weeks ago, is now riding in style. wtf

Ahhhh, the plot thickens!
If you can get the VIN from the dash, you may be able to do a lein search. No lein = no car loan = someone owns it outright.
Do you know someone who has access to ICBC's database like an autoplan agent? If so, get them to run the plate to see if it's registered in his name. Perhaps there's someone right here on this board who can do it. Anyone?

Maybe he found a sugar mama.....Just kidding. ;) :evil1:
I think you ride in style. :D
On a separate note, i don;t think the privacy act allows for them to give you information without his consent but the courts would find out for you.

want me to drive into it with my work truck? then I will find out who its registered to

Maybe you can lay claim to the car and seize it?
Or you can slap a lein on it?

Vehicle value is about 8-12 grand.... Not sure what that implicate for you but I figured it was worth mentioning.
