I'm looking for two 14x6 and two 15x8 steel wheels, preferably white that will take a set of baby moons. I want that classic "Old Red" look on my Manx clone.. I can't seem to find anything about them

which manx clone?

As far as I can tell it's more of a homemade Manx clone... My grandfather and his friends talked their buddy into letting them make a mold of his brand new buggy. Then they laid the fiberglass themselves. He says it was a Manx. They unfortunately put a ridge running down the hood when they made the mold. But other than that it seems to be a copy of a Manx

Very cool! Looks like a nice body

The sentimental value is the best part for me. My grandfather is 80, he made it, he thinks it in pieces in a shed. I'm trying to have it on the road by next spring. Documenting the rebuild, gonna surprise him with it. I learned to drive in his backyard in this buggy when I was ten. Getting it done, and done right is very important to me.

That is too cool ! Another member of buggy club, welcome aboard. I love that story about your grandpa, keep us updated.

I'm going to start a build thread next month. Hopefully I can draw on some peoples knowledge. I'm learning as I go with this stuff.
I'd love to see peoples pictures of their buggies to help with ideas for mine

Here's mine, almost finished. For more pic's look in the ASF members section.

Thanks for this one, hopefully be buying these tonight.
Now I just need front wheels. Apparently it's not 14" x6 bus wheels I need, but thing wheels.
Hopefully you guys can continue to steer me in the right direction
