Did he give some story about "I'm going to restore it but need the cash to do it, so can't pay you what you're asking"? I've always had the opinion that once it's sold, I have no say in what happens to it. (unless I'm owed money!)

O no. nothing like that. He paid the price, no questions asked. Believe me, he isn't making ANY money here. Just sounded like he really wanted to restore it. O well, like you said, once its sold I have no say.
