Title: Down under coverage of the GCVWS, pics
Post by: Geoff on April 21, 2010, 08:27:03 PM
Just got my copy of Hot4's magazine (mostly watercooled mag).

Lots of good pic's from the GCVWS!

as a mark2 owner, and looking at these pics, i have to ask myself, whats so special about mark 1 and 2 vws that they deserve more shots than vintage beetle's and bus's? do they not have rabbits down under? or is aircooled still considered hitlers revenge there?

This is a Watercooled magazine not Aircooled.

I used to buy this mag all the time when I lived in Aussie. And MK1s and 2s are in a completely different class than aircooleds, besides the obvious difference in motor design. Each are awesome at what they do best, the aircooler for cruising, the GTIs for autocross and some hard driving. Apples and oranges.
