Hey all!

John here.  Downtown Van resident almost on the verge of purchasing my 2nd Beetle.  This one is a high-powered TURBO'd number coming out of Dallas TX, but still in the process of checking things out.  Met Darren K and Lanny already.  Sounds like a great bunch of people with all the know-how anyone could ask for.  Looking forward to being a VW owner again.  WOO

If I end up buying this car, then I definitely will make it out to the Boston Pizza meets this summer.  I was looking at an '05 S2000 as an alternative toy, but really the bug wins hands down.  See? Just talked myself right out of it.  :-\

ahhhhhh S2000, I see the reasoning, Its the pushbutton start!

Thats why I put the s2000 start button in my ghia!

Or just get a pre 53 beetle and it comes with a push button...

Well, I took the plunge!  After a relatively painless border crossing / inspection the care is MINE!   :whoo:

I hope to make it out to some local events and have some good fun this summer!  Lanny's waved his magic wand over it already so I'm stoked to take it through it's paces!
