Having received my information about my car from Germany under options it has M 002/358 US-equipment and M 044 cannot be identified. Is there somewhere on the internet that tells what these options were as I tried but I couldn't find anything. Thanks Thomas

Go to the Samba forums and ask there, I'm sure they have will have the info.

Thanks Geoff got it figured out on Samba except for the M044 option which even Volkswagen doesn't even seem to know. It's great to find out the history of the car.The funning thing is my car and son share the same birthday.
