Title: aircare requirements for an old 59 single cab

I am wondering what will  bc aircare facility require of my single cab as far as emissions goes?

1. Have your BC vehicle registration document handy.  You will need the net and gross vehicle weights in KG's.

2. Go to this site and fill in the info.

You will note that at the bottom part of the above noted link, you can also download the standards.

i think its pretty much the same as a 73 beetle.... IIRC they dont have any info older than that.

500ppm HC, 4% CO, 2500ppm NOx driving and 750ppm HC, 6% CO idling.

Easy for a healthy engine.
