Title: Where to get Brad Penn oil?

I heard there was somewhere in Langley selling it. Also, the weight of the oil...what do I need? Thx Gerry

That would be nice if somebody in Langley was selling it.
I use 20w-50w for my drag car. I have an extra case of 12 for $100.00 cash if you want. I can bring it with me on Friday to the drags.
Also what you need depends on how your engine was built with clearances. 10 psi for every 1000rpm is what most people agree on. My engine was built with very generous clearances to allow lots of oil slinging and once warm gets exactly what I need. I would say most cars would use a thiner oil like 5-10w -30w.

ya I still cant decide what to run in my car...
need to decide asap as I need to buy oil to put in it for friday

I run the Brad Penn 20w50, I bought it in Seattle at the Porsche event $60 USD a case. I have his contact info if you happen to be in Seattle or want to get it shipped to Blaine.

I use Udo lifters and do not worry about what oil I use. I am only concerned with decent shear strength synthetics.
I idle my engines when I break them in :)

I'm not concerned with break in either (Ceramic lifters)more the lubrication of every other part @ 7500rpm

wow great advice for all those without ceramic lifters.....
ok lets all calm down ;) go to lordco and you can by lucas oil as well as lucas brand break in lube . at present i'm running the 10-40 which is a semi synthetic oil .

screw it, im going organic, gonna use costco brand organic extra virgin olive oil, and using water in the gearbox.
