Hello, my name is Jeff.
Ive been lurking for about 4 years, while I have been slowly putting together Danny Boys old single cab, with the help of my brother Joel (Crank). The things that have been done (68 adjustable beam, 73 bus front disc, all new brakes and lines and master cylinder with power assist, 74 beetle tranny. The motor started as a short block from Air speed, with a 74 crank, full flowed oil system. I ended up with a 1760 with duel 40 Kads, ported and polished heads, header and single muffler. This motor pulls this truck very well, lots of fun. ;D
The body has not been touched, so it looks a little ruff around the edges. My goal was to get it road worthy, and enjoy driving it while I get the body done.
I hope to meet most of you next weekend, in the meantime here is a link to some pics.

Yup, it was really good to see your SC drive OUT of my driveway LOL.
Seriously, It was a little frustrating at times considering what had to be done to get it driving. The truck fought us every inch of the way too. But now you have a mechanically sound rolling driving project, plated and ready for the bodywork and all the little things etc.
Cool that you can show it off at the GCVW show this weekend too.
