Title: Sunday August 2nd VW car meet @ Spanish Banks 10am

10am Spanish Banks, Last Parking Lot, Dog Park. If we can't all get in the lot we will park on the grass.

Looks like they already have 20 or so cars coming out, lets get a few AC mixed into the bunch. Maybe bring a BBQ and some drinks and make a day of it.

do you guys want to meet somewhere at 10am so all the acvws can cruise in together?

i suggest meeting at the chevron on the northeast corner of main and 12th ave (it's easy to get to from the highway, just take the grandview hwy exit and it becomes 12th....plus 12th & main is pretty central for the in town folks too...then we cruise 12th to alma to broadway to the beach...easy)! if we meet at 10 and leave shortly after it would get us to spanish banks around 1030-ish! also open to other location ideas tho if anyone has some!!

plus....bbq's....coal or gas? is there a coal burning bbq ban in vancouver parks? ray...do you have a bbq you can bring?? it would be nice to have at least 2 (and lori & i dont have one). we do have 2 coolers for beverages tho so i'll load 'em up with ice and bring them!!

dont forget the spf and and any other sort of shade provider you can think of (anyone have one of those collapsible tent dealies?)

lets make this happen and have some fun!!!!

I`ll make sure to pack my speedo you dig so much :-* ;)That meeting point sounds perfect .Lane and I are going to cruise Whiterock tomorow night. We were down there with the big bopper tonight and the place was hoppin. If you can swing it you should try to come out.

what route are you taking? you guys want to meet somewhere before whiterock and cruise in together? (that way my city-slicker white ass wont get taken by some white-rock thug)! 8)

Getting a good parking spot @ Spanish Banks , you have to get there before early. I'll be cooking some ribs and fish , your welcome to have some . Brought a few beers/wine/crownroyal last time. It's all good the cops don't really check unless ur ass. Just keep it low . Hey Cheech you can have that hideaway if you want , can't bring it with me however i'll talk to ya about it. ;D

lori's going to whip up some prawn & veg k-bobs and we'll probably bring some smokies for whoever wants them. i'll be pounding the near beer, but i'll have coolers full of ice for whoever needs to chill the real s#!t! ;) 8)

we're really excited...it should be a great day!

who else is in??
