Yikes looks like it had an oiling or a clearance problem. The rod cap is blued from being to hot, that is probably the reason it let go, maybe the oil was still cold on that pass and wasn't lubricating properly.  Breaking parts hurts thats forsure.

Are talking about the BC hulk from airspeed?
