Just wondering where everybody goes for VW service (other than the stuff you do yourself).
I'm asking because it seems like there isn't a ton of places to go that will work on ACVWs.
In the past I've gone to Rudy and Peter. Dirk doesn't want to or isn't interested in ACVWs now... I've also use The Bug Shop. Ed seems really busy and under staffed.
Thoughts.. suggestions?

hahah.. he's always like that :)
There's Daniel @ Old Beetle Shop also. .. But yes.. what work do you need done?

Call AVR and see if they can recomend a shop.
Other than that, try explaining what you need and see how many offers you can get.
Do you have a place where you can work on the car?
Do you need something simple done that would take hours?
Someone here may need some parts money and do the work you need or they may be able to help you do it your self.

There's a pretty good selection of skilled vw folk on this site. Beer is a pretty common currency ;)

Now, beer sounds like a good deal. What is a brake job on a bus worth in beer?
Question: If I place an order at CIP tomorrow can I pick it up in person Thursday?

Try Yogi at W Motors if all else fails. He likes AC.

You should be able to pick it up in about an hour.
