my new 52 Oval style dash is on the I-5 as I write this.... hopefully the last time I have to push it, other than into my garage!

Anyone have a pair of decent 5 bolt rims and tires I could borrow? I've got two good, and two bad ones... the bad might not make it on the tow up from Bellingham....

great looking car brian. congrats!!!! you must be really excited.
i'm with geoff tho...gotta fix those tail lights.

Very nice car, and you dont have to be afraid to call it a split!
-
If you can't get tires ( im sure bufferman can come thru) i have lots.
I might be able to help with a few items for that ride.
Welcome to the split club!!

We're talking Zwitter here, right? Call me crazy but I like them better then split dashes anyway. :-\
-
Yep! Zwitter it is, delivered to Toronto in early November 52. I used to own a December version of this car, green as well and always wanted to get another. It took a lot of chasing and the planets to align to actually get it. Thanks for the encouragement!

Very nice Brian...congrats!!!

I got a call from the driver and the car's sitting in my storage unit in Bellingham! Just trying to figure out the details of getting it here, likely not in time for the BP show this weekend!

Is your paperwork in at US Customs?
If so, you've got the whole day tomorrow to get it in.

I know Bruce,
It's that damn work thing that gets in the way. With all the delays and screwups in trying to get down there, my work has been really understanding in me booking days off and then cancelling when I couldn't get the title. It happened about three times so I've got Monday morning booked off to do the deed!

Thanks again for the offer of the wheels Steve! The trailering is going to work out so I don't need them.

Now where to start! Holly crap... going in about 10 directions.... what parts are missing, what to chase first? I always had an appreciation for someone building a car, just MORE of an appreciation now. At least I don't have to have it running to drive to work everyday. ;) I guess two main areas, body shell and decided what needs cleaning up/repairing, and running gear. Brakes all going to be repaired/replaced, and pull the block apart to see what I have.
pics to come
