Title: Wanted... Somebody To Help Me Install Some Windows

Anyways.. I need to install my stationary windows into my bug. So I would like another bug-minded hand with it.. Who ever is willing to do it I'll buy you lunch/beer.. or whatever you drink.. All Interested parts contact me.

My car and myself will be out just off of King George highway by the newton wave pool. It isn't urgent and its not ready to be done now. But it would just be nice to have it done before may 2nd..

front rear and rear quarters.. Using wolfburg west seals and chrome trim.

Why dont you let your upholsterer do it? Its not that hard. When Matt comes out Ill get him to get ahold of me and well get it done that much faster. I dont want anything for doing it.

Does the chrome strip around the window need to be put on? Or is it already installed in the seal?

since were doing window trim, why don't I bring my car by and we can do the front driver and passenger side window rubber /w chrome trim on my car :D

Wow wasn't expecting this much of a response. The rubber is going onto a early car. SO it is advisable to insert the chrome into the rubber before installing it. Let me get some other stuff worked out and maybe we can have a work party day on Seabert.. She just might make it to spring fling!

uh...what?
We installed the chrome onto the rubber after attaching rubber to the windows. I have no idea how you could even work with the rubber without having it stretched by having it attached to the windows.

Good luck with that.

Well This gives me a idea, In the Impala SS forum they have a "Mod Day" It's a day that everyone meets up brings some food has a BBQ and helps each other out. If someone is good at header instals he may help someone who needs window rubber instaled.
Maybe this is something we could do? Have a day when everyone wants to hang out have a beer and help others. We could use the AirSpeed parking lot or maybe another venu. Just a idea for those who may need help or guidance. There are a lot of talented people on this forum and im sure everyone would come out ahead.

Heres the dealio. I have access to a 30-50 foot shop.. and a bbq. And plenty of parking. Lets have a glass and rubber mod day and we can all come out and fix each others problems? Coolio?

now i think Geoff hit the jackpot with that idea  mad props. I am so down soem of us know more then others and this woudl be great to just chill will peeps of the same intrest and do a little greasen and eating.
