Title: non VW, what you have or recomentd 40-47 TVs?

I have been looking at older  models (new) TVs and  like to know what make you have and what you like about them?

We got a philips 42inch plasma, and it sucks, sound turns off itself sometimes, and the picture isn't that great, i've heard lots of good stuff about samsung, my computer monitor is a 22" samsung and its awesome! and a great price. LG i think is way over priced in my opinion. Also LCD plays faster frames smoothly, while a plasma will look choppy.

My family has 3 samsungs from 40"-46" all lcd and everyone is happy with them. The picture is great and the tv itself has a nice style to it.

our famliy has a 58 inch plasma from the brick boxing day ,$ 2,300  awsome  colors , clear. and its a samsung.  so far great buy.  cheers

I have a 42" Samsung and have no complaints.

Thanks guys. I was told to check out Samsung and LG.

I went with LG 47 LCD.

I am just learning this stuff.
