Yeah, I saw that. Sounds a bit bias to me... not that I count Beetles or anything else from that era safe, LOL. I understand the logic behind the Bus but seems like the Beetle's fault is apparently the optional gas heater that a lot of bugs did not have at all?! That's retarded.
And the Corvette... does Corvette has spaceframe/unibody no? If so, why the hell does it matter if body panels are fiberglass or not?

The only fault given the Beetle was the fear of the gas heater.  So I guess by their standards, a Beetle without a gas heater is perfectly safe.
