If you had a choice would you go for drop spindels or adjustable beam and why?

I would go drop spindels, I'm going on what I have read. Adjustable beams stiffen the ride, but the drop spindels keep the stock ride, some of the drop spindels increase the width up to a inch or two. I hope this helps. Later Jeff

Both. Spindles to achieve most of the lowering and adjusters to fine tune it. While your in putting the adjusters that would be the time to chop the beam in order to get your wheels placed inside the fenders where you want them.

I say both. If I recall you have both don't you?  If you've got it taken apart to the point of doing the spindles it's not much more to replace the beam as well.

Yup if you want to drop it... spindels, adjustable narrowed beam, castor shims and front tires.

All of the above.
That way you can have discs and adjust to desired height.
