Wow,
We stopped in to see him whenever we were coming up "the Guide" at the right time of day. He was a nice enough guy. That's some sad news. Over the last few years it seemed like things had really been coming around for him.

OMG my GF and I drove by his shop Sunday too!!
I used to deliver parts for him from CIP back when we did our UPS run straight to Bellingham. Very sad news :-[

For anyone interested here is a link to his website. His family is selling his estate through it:

It would be a shame to see all that go to the scrapper at some point. I hope someone can step up and buy most of it. They wouldn't be just buying some parts, but helping a family that lost a great guy as well.

Where is the place located?
-
was located on the east side of the 539 (guide meridian) when you are heading down towards bellingham. Don't have an exact address, but It looks like they would like an e-mail first as an address is not listed.
