That 1974 Gone in 60 Seconds used the same '71 Mustang for the entire car chase scene. They hammered out the fenders and replaced any broken parts after each scene. The DVD's extras has an interview with the directors wife(H.B. Halicki)and she still owns the car to this day. The acting in the movie is pretty cheesy but the car chase certainly makes up for it.
