Title: what kind of oil for 1600dp in a van??

just wondering what type of oil you folks would use in the above situation, im not sure if the extra weight of the van would make the engine work any harder and therefore run a bit hotter , and if so would it make much of a difference??

I would  need a gauge to answer that ................. im sorted now thanks, though

Get a meat one from IGA. Stick it into the oil dip stick for a few swconds. it may give you an idea.
