Title: Engine identification assistance
Post by: A.G. on July 21, 2008, 06:06:47 PM

I am trying to determine the year, size and application of this engine.
The serial number stamped on the generator stand is E22283 with a small W6 stamped lower on the stand.

Thanks in advance.

The "E" would indicate that the engine was remanufactured, you may even notice that the old numbers were ground off. If you check on to the left of the generator pedestal you may find some more numbers that may provide more details.

It appears to be a 36hp engine.

Good luck.
