This is what happens when your shift rod decides to bust on a hot day in Langley on the WAY to pickup kids from a daycamp that ended 5 minutes prior to this photo being taken. Apparently they deliver if the kids are loud enough..lol

Ohh... And I have to mention.. this is the first time in a LONGGGGGGG time I've driven a 'normal car'... It's a 2008.. Blue Car (not sure if that's the make or model).. with four doors and some weird thing called Aaaaae/Ceeeee. When you go fast, the doors lock you in.. haha
DOOD.... I'm sooo low to the ground.
I feel MUCH safer in 44 year old metal that's raised 3 feet off the ground. :D SERIOUS.

Hopefully it will be a quick fix and you can put that new piece of _____ aside again. ;D

Sooooooooo...... If anyone is bored this weekend.. Shawn is going to be over taking my motor out so we can put new tranny mounts in.
Fun Times. :-\
Apparently rubber slippage is a bad thing.. :D

Shawn did a wickedass job. Almost done on his own by the time I got back form roller derby practice. I helped him connect the two top engine mounts.. that was it.
Turns out the tranny mount was broken smack in half!!!! front end of the tranny was being held up by my poor shift rod.
Shawn tired.. Truck runs and shifts..... SMOOOOTH. :)
