Title: 66 Beetle Tranny Raise
Post by: Greg on April 27, 2008, 06:33:16 PM
As the title states. I would like to do this to my 66 beetle.

As I have never done this before, Im an curious to know what issues I am going to run into. I know im going to need a bus nosecone. What else?

also, I am planning on running a 1776 with dual 40 Kads. Am I going to run into clearance issues between the kads and the body/deck lid?

You will need to modify your cooling tin or engine compartment to get a good fit for your cooling needs also you will need to dimple/modify your car under the rear seat where the nose cone will hit (when it comes up and in contact)
