Title: Looking for some local info (Langley)
Post by: Finnite on April 27, 2008, 06:31:13 PM: Hi anyone know a good mechanic to press in and out some ball joints for a type1 beam? I got the torsion arms removed just don't have a press. I know there's a few good shops around just don't know who's the best to deal with for ball joints.

I know I posted in Chassis & Suspension Forum but after no response in a week I was just hoping to find someone that isn't looking there. I know you guys must have to change a ball joint from time to time so if there's no shop can it be done without a press?

unfortunately, airspeed (the store & shop) is closed...that's why geoff suggested avr or duanes.

i know rudy & peters in vancouver can press out bus balljoints so they could probably do beetle balljoints too (but vancouver might be too far away for you).
